Despite a tough 17 point loss against the Brisbane Lions in game three of the Winter Series on Saturday, Gold Coast Suns AFLW recruit Molly Ritson found the perfect way to get the Gabba crowd talking.

With minimal space to work with, the 19-year-old tucked the ball under her arm, fended off former teammate and good friend Emma Zielke before snapping truly on her right boot to curve the ball goalwards.

The Bond University product was mobbed by ecstatic teammates but not even some Molly magic could inspire the Suns to a historic win, with the Coast side going down 33-50.
