Coast League Reserves grand final - Musgrave def. Broadbeach 3-2

MUSGRAVE have survived a second-half fightback from Broadbeach to claim the Coast League Reserves crown at Carrara’s Croatian Sports Centre.

The Mustangs led 2-0 at halftime but the Dolphins hit back to level things up after the break.

Musgrave, who finished 15 points adrift of table-topping Broadbeach at the end of the regular season, then scored a third and decisive goal to complete a remarkable run to the title.

The Mustangs’ Lee Shanks was named man of the match.

Premier League Reserves grand final - Surfers Paradise def. Broadbeach 4-2

SURFERS Paradise have completed the Premier League Reserves treble after overcoming a brave Broadbeach 4-2.

After taking a 2-1 lead into halftime, Apollo extended their advantage to 3-1 before Broadbeach mounted one last push to pull it back to 3-2.

Surfers then put the result beyond doubt with a fourth goal, to seal the Pre-Season Cup, premiership and championship triple.

Coast League grand final - Musgrave def. Broadbeach 5-1

MUSGRAVE have claimed the Coast League title following a dramatic 5-1 drubbing of champions Broadbeach in the grand final.

The Dolphins got off to a nightmare start after conceding an early goal and their cause wasn’t helped when they lost one player to a red card and another was sin-binned.

Two more goals after the break put the Mustangs on course for victory, before Broadbeach pulled one back.

It proved a mere consolation though as another red card and sin binning allowed Musgrave to score twice more.
