Name: Britney Ingr
Age: 13
Club: Vikings Athletics
Main events: 100/200m sprints and long jump
Years competing: Three
Season ambition: To break the QLD state U16 long jump record set in 2007, achieve a top two finish at the QLD All Schools champs next month and also a podium finish at Australian National Champs in all events. She’s ranked in the top three in Australia in the U16 girls.
Rep honours: U14 girls Australian Long Jump Champion and Australian runner up in both the 100m and 200m. Two gold and one silver at the 2018 QLD State championships and two state records. Four gold at the recent Gold Coast Regional titles and two regional records.
Name: Dylan Devine
Age: 14
Club: Runaway Bay little athletics
Main events: 400m, 800m and 1500m
Years competing: Seven
Season ambition: To run a 1:55 for the 800m and to be selected in the QLD team again as U15 for the multi events.
Rep honours: 2014 – State champion 800m under 9. 2015 – State champion 800m & 400m under 10. 2016 – State champion 800m 2nd 400m & 1500m under 11. 2017 – State Champion 800m, 400m & 1500m under 12. 2018 – State Champion 800m, 400m & 1500m under 13, selected in the QLD under 13 state team to compete at national championships for the 400m, 800m & 1500m, won gold in all three events and broke the Australian record in the 800m.

Age: 13
Club: Tamborine Mountain little athletics
Main events: 800m, 1500m and Cross Country
Years competing: Four
Season ambition: Personal best and podium at Little Athletics State Championships.
Rep honours: Represented QLD team at National Cross Country Championships 2018 and 2019. Represented South Coast at School Sport Track & Field State Championships from 2017 – 2019. 1st – QLD Running State Cross Country Championships 2019. 2nd – QLD Athletics State Cross Country Championships 2019. 3rd - School Sport Cross Country QLD State Championships – 2018. 1st - U/11 1500 Little Athletics QLD State Championships. 2nd – U/12 1500 Little Athletics QLD State Championships. Club Champion 2018.
Name: Reece Madden
Age: 16
Club: Tweed little athletics
Main events: Discus, race walking
Years competing: 11
Season ambition: Reece’s ambition is to always improve his technique and his goal is to always throw better and further each time and set a new PB for himself. This season he hopes to be the best club captain and positive role model for the younger athletes in athletics.
Rep honours: North Coast School Sport- Sport Recognition Award 2018, Kingscliff High School Sports Star of the Year 2018, Gold Medals in Discus and Race Walk at Combined High Schools NSW 2019, Silver Medal in Discus at NSW All Schools Athletics Championships 2018 (qualified for the NSW State Athletics Team for Nationals), Bronze Medal in 3000m Race Walk at NSW All Schools Athletics Championships 2018, Kingscliff High School Sporting BLUE for outstanding sporting achievements 2018, Silver Medal in Race Walk at Combined High Schools Championships 2019, Club Captain for Tweed Little Athletics 2019/ 2020 season, vice-captain Tweed Little Athletics season 2018/2019, Gold Medals at Queensland Little Athletics State Championships, represented at both Queensland State Little Athletics and NSW Primary and Secondary Athletics State Championships since the age of 10 years, including several medals.

Main events: 100m, 200m, Long Jump, 4x100m Relays
Years competing: Six
Season ambition: To make it into the State Team and represent her club on a national level.
Rep honours: 2016 Under 9’s STATE (Manly Warringah), first in 4x100m relay and second in 70m. 2017 Under 10s STATE (Tweed Seagulls). Second in 70m and second in long jump. 2018 Under 11’s STATE (Tweed Seagulls), first in 100m, first in 200m and second in long jump. 2019 Under 12’s STATE (Tweed Seagulls), second in 100m, second in 200m and third in long jump. Just won the age 12 200m National Championship in Darwin with a time of 26.19.
Name: Oliver Miller
Age: 9
Club: Mudgeeraba little athletics
Main events: 60m hurdles
Years competing: Two
Season ambition: To take out the 60m Hurdles State Title for the second year in a row. He would also like to improve on last year’s results in all other events and is focused to break some club and regional records. His long term goal is to be a world-class athlete.
Rep honours: Last season Oliver qualified for State Championships in five events. He placed top 10 in most and came away with the gold in the 60m Hurdles to become State Champion. It was a phenomenal result for someone so new to the sport.

Name: Sienna Aumann
Age: 11
Club: Mudgeeraba little athletics
Main events: 80m hurdles
Years competing: Three
Season ambition: To continue to train and achieve good results. She just wants to do well and see where it goes.
Rep honours: She has already run under the national qualifying standard for hurdles. She is ranked outright #1 in QLD and she was only 0.07 sec off beating the current state hurdles champion recently for the age group above hers. As she is very new to the sport and too young to compete in Hurdles for school sport so she hasn’t got any official honours…yet.
Name: Jacob Monaghan
Age: 14
Club: Helensvale little athletics & Helensvale State High School
Main events: 100m / 200m / 400m / High Jump
Years competing: Now starting his 3rd year at Helensvale Little Athletics and 4 years competing for school based athletics (Districts/Regionals & State)
Season ambition: To represent Helensvale Little Athletics again this season for State. To compete again at organised Little Athletic club meets and hopefully win gold in all nominated events. To receive Club Champion Boy award for 3rd year running at this seasons end of club presentation. To better his current PB’s (100m – 11.77 / 200m – 23.81 / High Jump – 1.66).
Rep honours: Nationals (1st year at Helensvale Little Athletics) – State (for both seasons competing at Helensvale Little Athletics) – Jacob is also heading up to Cairns in October to complete in State Championships (South Coast) and competing in 100m, 200m & 4x100m relay.
Name: Jayda Anderson
Age: 14
Club: Gold Coast little athletics, Gold Coast Central Athletics (senior club)
Main events: 3000m race walk, cross country and 1500m run
Years competing: Three years for race walking and five years for running
Season ambition: Win back to back Championships in 3000m walk for School National championships in December and also Australian Junior Championships in March
Rep honours: Represented Qld at Australian Little Athletics Championships in 2018 winning gold in U/13 1500m walk setting a new record. Represented Qld at Australian Track and Field Championships in April 2019 winning gold in U/15 3000m walk and setting new record. Also placed 2nd in 2018. Represented Qld in Australian Road walking championships in 2018 placing second in 3000m walk the day after competing for Qld in Australian Cross Country Championships. Represented Qld at Australian Schools National Championship in December 2018 winning gold in U/14 3000m walk. Jayda has recently been invited to the Little Athletics U15’s National Camp at the AIS in Canberra later this month.

Name: Dianna Waight
Age: 14
Club: Ashmore little athletics
Main events: 100m, 200m
Years competing: 10 years
Season ambition: To make it to States, place in the top three, beat my personal best and get stronger.
Rep honours: A two time Postle gift winner, Waight has represented Queensland in 100m, 200m and the 4x100m relay. She holds a club record in every age group except Under 8, totalling 21 different records. Broke Pearson’s longstanding Ashmore under-15 200m record.
