KEEBRA Park has benefited from the arrival of multiple players as they look to bounce back to the pointy end of the NRL Schoolboy Cup competition.
The Queensland champions in 2016 and 2017 – they also took the national crown in the latter year – were forced to watch on as their fierce rival Palm Beach Currumbin surged to glory last season.
With only six of their top side returning from last year, the Southport-based school will take on a new look.

“We’ve got a big influx of new kids into the system which is a big plus for us,” said coach Glen Campbell.
“I’ve had kids come from northern NSW, a couple of walk-ins from New Zealand, some kids from up around Gladstone.
“I’m pretty pleased with our backline, it’s just a matter of arranging our forwards and seeing how it all unfolds. But the signs are all good.”

Campbell reported “promising” signs from his side’s mid-week trial against Ipswich State High.
