The Gold Coast Premier League match between the Coomera Colts and Nerang Eagles has been abandoned after Nerang’s Koki Miyasaka sustained a serious head injury.
Coomera were up 1-0 when the incident occurred, forcing the game to be stopped.
Miyasaka has been in rare form for the Eagles and played one of his best matches for the club earlier this month against Mudgeeraba.
The game will be replayed at a future date.
