A MAIDEN first grade premiership has helped Helensvale dominate selection in the Bulletin’s Gold Coast District Rugby Union Team of the Year.
With the Hogs this month breaking the club’s 32-year title wait, five players – including brothers Sean and Jack Finigan – have earned a spot in the Bulletin XV.
Each of the seven clubs has at least one player in the side, with grand final runners-up Griffith University Colleges (two) and semi finalists Surfers Paradise (three) and Nerang (two) rewarded with multiple selections.
Gold Coast Eagles, Palm Beach Currumbin and Bond Pirates have one each.
