“I did pretty well,” the humble champion said.

The young gun also revealed her secret which saw her dominate the three day event.

“I had steak and broccoli for dinner last night,” she said.

“It’s definitely my secret.”

Despite performing strongly in every event, Usher said that the ironwoman race, which she won, stands out as her favourite.

“I love how you get to do both events, a swim and ski leg,” she said.

“It’s really fun when you win because you’ve got the whole crowd cheering you on.”

Usher, who hopes to one day compete as a professional ironwoman, also counts AFL, swimming and basketball among her sporting exploits.

“It’s really hard to fit training in for surf lifesaving because I play five sports,” she said.

“I do board training three times a week, swimming three times a week and basketball two times a week.”

Aside from her personal results, the Viking said that she was excited to be part of Currumbin’s back to back state title winning team.

“It’s a really good feeling to have,” she said.

“We’re all one big family at Currumbin which is really nice.”
