An elite attacker from Ipswich Grammar made his startling starting debut in the GPS First XI football competition on Saturday whenhe made a winning impact in round four of the season.
Down 1-0 against BSHS, Ipswich Grammar youngster Usher Dull, wearing his starting red and white shirt, scored a screamer from outside the box to draw the scores level 1-all.
The busy left footer was everywhere and his relentless desire was capped by the goal which proved the difference.
Ipswich Grammar won that bout, 2-1 over BSHS, while Nudgee returned to the winners column with a 2-0 victory over Brisbane Grammar.
Down the coast, TSS won big over BBC, 4-1 to continue their successful campaign.
At Churchie, the premiership front runners dealt with visitors Toowoomba Grammar 2-0.

ROUND FOUR PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Seth Wicks (Nudgee College)
Wicks was a key player in Nudgee’s victory on Saturday.
He was calm in possession and made an outstanding one-on-one save on the cusp of half time to keep Brisbane Grammar scoreless.
Jamie Waddington (Nudgee College)
It would have been near impossible not to notice the work of jersey No. 5 on Saturday.
Waddington was relentless, combining a high work rate with a ruthless desire in front of goal, which saw him bag a brace.
Charlie Parkin (Nudgee College)
Coming back from injury, Charlie Parkin added another dimension to Nudgee’s already potent midfield.
Parkin did the simple things very well and used his defensive positioning to keep Nudgee on the front foot and Brisbane Grammar in pursuit of a breakthrough.
Usher Dull (Ipswich Grammar)
The pacy lefty made some impression in his starting debut.
His elite dribbling skills caused no shortage of problems for BSHS as he scurried from A to B with the ball at his feet.
Emmett Shaw (Ipswich Grammar)
Shaw scored and assisted in an inspiring man of the match performance.
His speed and pinpoint passing broke down the BSHS defence many times to create ample opportunities for the home side.
Luca Nakagawa-Morrison (TSS)
BBC started like a house on fire, but after his teammates did a great job weathering the storm, Nakagawa-Morrison moved in to score two excellent goals.
The ace finisher flipped a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead at oranges.
He scored his third goal on the cusp of time with a bottom corner finish on a splendid Hunter Hotko assist.
Hugh Macleod (TSS)
While Nakagawa-Morrison was the hattrick hero, Macleod was also excellent. He scored a cracking goal with the outside of his left boot to pull clear 3-1 against BBC.
In wet and slippery conditions, only Macleod knows he got that goal to go.
Kai Richardson (Toowoomba Grammar)
Toowoomba Grammar played away at Churchie and Richardson was up for the battle.
He was out and out Toowoomba’s most dangerous, while goalkeeper Max Lomas excelled between the posts to keep his team in the hunt.
Arden Hogan and Quinn MacNicol (Churchie)
The hardworking pair from Churchie were relentless from start to finish and their efforts were rewarded when they combined for their team’s first goal of the day.
Hogan put in a clever pass to MacNicol who slotted home his second goal in as many games with a half volley.
Zane North and Xavier Veivers-Brown (Churchie)
Another highlight came when these two put their team ahead 2-0 and in the clear.
North put in a brilliant free kick to Veivers-Brown who scored with a glancing header.
Cam McLeod (BSHS)
Goalkeeper Cam McLoed, a Year 10 student, was fantastic.
He made more than one crucial save on the weekend, and has cemented his spot in the side for this year and the years to come.
A notable showing from the Lions FC youngster.
Elias Ali Sheme (BSHS)
The Year 12 student just kept working and on the dribble he was dangerous.
He turns nothing to something to get BSHS on the front foot and in attack mode.
