The 188cm ruck was vice-captain of the Queensland team and also played in the recent AFL Women’s Winter Series for the Suns.
Bella has previously revealed she was nearly lost to football. The 17-year-old played footy as a junior in north Queensland but a lack of pathways resulted in her switching to netball where she was picked in Netball Queensland’s elite development squad.
