Having finished runners-up for the premiership, the Knights will have the chance to claim the grand final prize following a 2-1 victory in which they were forced to withstand a late Power charge.

It took just 15 minutes for the Knights to open the scoring at the Croatian Sports Centre as midfielder Max Brown found the net, before Jarrod Kyle doubled the lead in the 30th minute after putting away a cross from Oskar Dillon.

But the visitors hit back in the 72nd minute, with Trent McEvoy heading home from a Power corner to set up a tense final 20 minutes.

The Knights will now face Olympic, who stunned premiers Lions FC 2-1 at Richlands on Saturday, in the grand final at Perry Park at 6pm next Sunday.

In the NPL Women’s, Gold Coast United beat Capalaba 1-0 in their eliminational final on Saturday thanks to a first-half freekick from Rie Kitano.

They will now play premiers Lions at 6pm next Saturday at Richlands.
