U.S. Masters Champion and 2013 Australian PGA Championship winner Adam Scott was born there while 1993 champion Ian Baker-Finch shares his own connections to the hospital.

“I lived on the Gold Coast from 1987 to 2001,” Baker-Finch said.

“My family lived at Sanctuary Cove, that was my home club and town and I even had Sanctuary Cove on my golf back when I won the (British) Open (in 1991).

“Both my daughters, Hayley (29) and Laura (27) were born at Pindara in the same room as each other.”

Golfers all around the Gold Coast hoping to start or expand their family could flock to the hospital to see if they could deliver the next champion.
