SIEDE BUSHMEN’S UNDERRATED CUP STAR

WHILE the likes of Kevin Chapman and Josh Nelson generally grab the limelight at Mudgeeraba Nerang, fellow batsman Dayne Siede has been a crucial figure in the Bushmen’s unbeaten start to the Kookaburra Cup season.

FINS NEED MORE FROM YOUNG GUNS

WHILE Australia A representative Georgia Redmayne was the shining star in Gold Coast’s run to the Katherine Raymont Shield’s one-day and Twenty20 finals last season, she was well supported by the club’s emerging crop.

However, those young players have had a sluggish start to the 2019-20 campaign, highlighted by Sunday’s 65-run loss to Sandgate-Redcliffe.

Rectifying their form is the key to another successful season.
