NATHAN JANES (BURLEIGH)

The 19-year-old played lower grades at the Dolphins as recently as 2016-17, but it may be worth another crack after taking 19 wickets at an average of 9.32 with his left-arm offspin this season.

NIC PETERSON (SOUTHPORT LABRADOR)

At a time when the Dolphins are crying out for some older heads in their batting line-up, the 32-year-old could be the answer having amassed 564 runs this season at 40.29.

It follows a 2017-18 campaign in which he posted 690 runs at 46 to finish joint-winner of the Sam Loxton Medal.

PHIL TUNNICLIFFE (COOMERA HOPE ISLAND)

Hopes of luring the 32-year-old Kiwi to Bill Pippen Oval are probably out of reach, but this season’s haul of 653 runs at 50,23 and 20 wickets at 16.05 would make him a valuable addition.

JACK LICKISS (HELENSVALE PACIFIC PINES)

While injury has hampered the 22-year-old’s output this season, he has still scored 261 runs at 52.2 and his ability to keep wickets offers valuable flexibility.

LUKE MUSSETT (PALM BEACH CURRUMBIN)

Another recruit from abroad, the 18-year-old English quick has been a revelation with 33 wickets at 18.73 in his first Kookaburra Cup campaign.
