COOMERA’S underdog Brisbane Women’s Premier League run is over after Peninsula Power flexed their muscle in last night’s elimination final at Kippa-Ring.
Having secured their top-four spot with a 4-1 upset of newly-crowned champions The Lakes on Wednesday, the Colts could not extend their debut campaign beyond the first week of the finals as Power romped to a 4-0 win.
KNIGHTS THROUGH TO NPL GRAND FINAL
The Power will now head to the preliminary final to face University of Queensland, who were beaten 2-0 by The Lakes in last night’s major semi final.

The last of the four Gold Coast teams left in the BWPL finals race, Coomera finished the season with 11 wins, five draws and seven losses under coach Archy Kahondo.
