IN the latest edition of the Bulletin’s Round Ball Round Up football podcast, Surfers Paradise coach Alex Morrison talks beating the Knights, his plans for 2019, rival coaches and playing in “Damascus”.

Opening up about the ongoing field drama at Lex Bell Oval, Morrison said it would come into consideration when mapping out his plans for 2019.

“Obviously I’d like to stay at Surfers Paradise. It’s a good club, you can run your senior program the way you want but unfortunately the pitch is what it is and I do have reservations about how that pitch is going to be and Telly (Karadimos) and Kirk (Brebner) know that,” Morrison said.

“They aren’t happy with the state of the pitch. We just need to sit down as a group and see what is the plan going forward for the pitch.

“You’re not going to enjoy playing on that pitch. I’m not hiding any fact that anyone else can see.”
