LEWIN MALADAY

The former Australian under-19 representative has been part of Queensland’s wider training squad this season and the results are starting to show.

Having temporarily relinquished the wicketkeeping role after breaking his finger, the 21-year-old has posted scores of 60, 85 and 73 in his last three knocks to take his season tally to 298 runs at 42.57.

TON OF RUNS NOT ENOUGH FOR FINS

CARLY FULLER

After starting her first season with the Dolphins in the middle order, Fuller has proved a revelation since switching to opener for the club’s Twenty20s.

In six T20 bats, she has amassed 293 runs at an average of 73.25 – including three half-centuries - to take her season tally to 314 runs at 39.25.

NATHAN TAKING THE LYONS’ SHARE

MAX HOULAHAN

Talent has never been an issue for the towering left-handed batsman, but turning starts into scores of substance has so far held him back.

Houlahan, who has taken on the captaincy in 2018-19 at the age of 21, produced a season-best score on Saturday with a knock of 60 that could kickstart his campaign.

DATE DECIDED FOR CUP’S T20 FINAL

REBECCA VAN HELVOIRT

A reliable Katherine Raymont Shield performer since joining the club in 2014-15, Van Helvoirt broke through for a maiden top-grade ton with an unbeaten 102 against Sandgate-Redcliffe in Round 1.

She has continued that form in the middle order, registering two half-centuries en route to 336 runs at an average of 37.

JOSH KANN

A member of the Queensland side competing at the Australian Under-19 Championships in Adelaide from December 3-13, Kann has shown glimpses of his potential for the Dolphins this season after making his debut in 2017-18.

The 18-year-old all-rounder has collected eight wickets at 27 to go with 123 runs at 30.75, despite batting at no.9 and 10 in his seven innings to date.
