Boston enjoyed another strong season for the Sharks, playing 20 games of the regular season and all of the club’s finals.
The former Gold Coast Suns AFL player averaged 27 disposals despite being routinely tagged against opposition sides.
Roos would have been a huge chance to win the Medal after a terrific start to the season following his shift from halfback to the midfield.
Roos averaged 30.6 disposals and 4.6 tackles per game before leaving the side after Round 17.
Southport will begin their exit meetings with the players early next week after regather following their NEAFL grand final loss and prepare for 2020.
