FEBRUARY has been a prosperous month for a number of senior Gold Coast Cricket sides, with six teams in particular making double-digit jumps in The Bulletin’s Power Rankings since the end of January.
Mudgeeraba Nerang’s third grade side poduced the biggest jump in the month of February so far, rising 20 spots from 46 to 26, followed close behind by Helensvale Gold (5th Grade, 42-23), Loganholme (3rd Grade, 48-35), Runaway Bay (1st Grade, 26-14), Broadbeach Robina (5th Grade, 19-8) and Queens (2nd Grade, 63-53).
There are four new teams in the top 10 since our previous rankings update: Palm Beach Currumbin (4th Grade, 11-4), Broadbeach Robina (5th Grade, 19-8), Mudgeeraba Nerang (1st Grade, 14-9) and Runaway Bay (5th Grade, 12-10).
On the flip side, seven teams plummeted at least 10 spots since the beginning of February including three Kookaburra Cup contenders.
