The QAFL is just two weeks away from crowning its new premiers for season 2022.
Until then, we’ve dived deep into the official AFLQ statistics to see who came out best on paper.
The competition’s best tackler was Palm Beach-Currumbin’s Tyler Cornish with an average 7.1 tackles from 106 total, while in the W, Southport’s Madeleine Watt dominated with 7.1 from 100 total.

The men's competition was dominated by Aspley’s Will Wolbers, who also took out our Team of the Year ruck after averaging 36.9 hitouts per game, a massive 16.9 more than his nearest competitor in Brad Hodge with 25.
The women's ruck was lead by UQ player and QAFLW Team of the Year ruck Jacqui Russell with an average 22.3 hitouts — not surprising for an ex Super Netball player.
