Live stream: Watch the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships 2025 on KommunityTV

A 10-day festival of water polo is set to take over the pools of Perth with more than 200 matches featuring teams from across the country – and all live streamed exclusively here.

One of the nation’s biggest junior sporting events returns in a new time period but with the same huge numbers hitting the pools of Perth.

The 2025 Australian Youth Water Polo Championships begin on Monday with clubs from across the country descending on Western Australia for a 10-day festival.

KommunityTV will exclusively live stream more than 200 matches across three pools at the tournament, which has grown to become the biggest event on our annual water polo calendar.

The fortnight is split into two five-day age tournaments, with the U14 and U18 teams competing from April 14-18 before the U12 and U16 teams take to the pool from April 20-24.

Water Polo Australia chief executive Tim Welsford said it was terrific for clubs from across the country to be able to come together for a celebration of our the sport.

“In 2025, the AYWPC will be played over the Easter school holiday period for the first time, where previously it was held in January,” Welsford said.

“As a result, the AYWPC will be the culmination of the season for our junior athletes, an opportunity to play a against national competition and put into practice the skills they’ve learnt and developed during the summer season.”

The tournament features a healthy representation from Victoria, Tasmania, ACT, Western Australia and South Australia as well as the customary influx of clubs from traditional powerhouses, NSW and Queensland.

“We’re excited also to be partnering with KommunityTV again to live stream the AYWPC, giving friends, family and fans the opportunity to support our next generation in Perth, or from afar,” Welsford said.

Live stream coverage will begin from 8am AWST, 10am AEST on Monday.
