2025 Peter Mulholland Cup live stream: Westfields Sports High v Central Coast Sports College

Fresh off a remarkable comeback, a “more cohesive” Westfields Sports will face a dynamic Central Coast outfit on Thursday with the winner booking a spot in the finals. Watch it LIVE here.

Everything is on the line as Westfields Sports High and Central Coast Sports College go to battle in round three of the Peter Mulholland Cup.

A spot in the quarter-finals awaits the winner, while the loser has to wait another 12 months for their shot at glory.

The match will be exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV from 12pm Thursday.

It wasn’t always the case for WSHS to find itself in this position, when they trailed by 14 against Hills Sports High with a little over 10 minutes to play.

From that point on their season changed, finishing with a flourish to keep them on track to advance to the next stage.

“I felt we looked a lot more cohesive in our second game,” Westfields coach Jason Demetriou said.

“We still have to tidy up some of our discipline, but there were some exciting signs. We come into this third game with a bit more fluency and are looking forward to the challenge.”

Demetriou praised the way his troops were able to stick with it, not being disheartened by the scoreline and finding a way to claw out a win.

“I was really impressed with our resilience,” he said.

“To go almost the length (to win the game) with all our key players touching the ball, it was an impressive way to seal the game.

“Zain (Alameddine) was outstanding for us. In key moments he wanted the ball in his hands and when you have your captain wanting the ball like that, it’s a good sign.

“Hayden Bell control the ruck really well and I thought our middles were really strong. Every player contributed.”

He knows the task that awaits his side against a strong Central Coast outfit, but hopes they can take their upwards trajectory into the most important game of the season to date.

“For us it’s to take the lessons (out of those first two games),” he said.

“I want us to take some confidence out of it too. Being able to get our senior players together at training has made a massive difference and the back up in a week helps.

“We’re getting better every week.”
