They may not have made the quarterfinals, but that didn’t stop these eight U15 and U16 teams from putting quite a show on Field 5 on Saturday. Check out all the REPLAYS of the four matches.

They may not have made the quarterfinals but Queensland Silver U15s showed they are keen to finish their FA Girls National Youth Championships campaign with a bang.

The Queensland girls impressed in beating Tasmania 3-1 and will go into their remaining games full of confidence.

In the other U15 placement game on Sunday, NSW Country and Capital Football fought out a 1-1 draw.

The girls from the nation’s capital will be determined to put their best foot forward as a series of placement fixtures take over the action on Field 5 on Saturday.

While the National Youth Championships haven’t gone exactly to plan for the Capital Football sides, they will be confident their best football is still in front of them.

The Under-15s, who only narrowly missed a finals berth, will clash with NSW Country on Saturday morning, before the Under-16s side take on Tasmania.

The games will highlight shortened day of placement finals action on Field 5 at the Home of the Matildas which includes five games across the Under-15 and Under-16 tournaments.

Tasmania’s Under-15 side will also be in action on Saturday when they clash with Queensland Silver.

The Tasmanians showed their fight earlier in the tournament when they held quarter-finalists Victoria White to a 0-0 draw and had their opportunities to impress despite a winless run through the group stages.

In the final placement game on Field 5 South Australia’s Under-16 girls will be determined to ride the momentum of their 4-1 win over Tasmania on Friday into a clash with Western Australia.
