The home state has earned a day off the field on Saturday after capping an undefeated run through the pool stages with a domiannt 7-2 win over NSW Country.

A Lacey Dobson penalty midway through the second half, which came from a pretty careless challenge on the striker in the box, proved the difference between the two sides.

Victoria Blue are also bound for the Under-15 quarter-finals after they finished the pool stages with a dominant 2-0 win.

Two arch rivals in the same state will go head-to-head to open a big third day’s action at the Football Australia National Youth Championships.

A high-flying undefeated NSW Metro Under-16s side, who have scored a combined 15 goals in two games, will clash with rivals Northern NSW in a blockbuster on Friday.

The clash will kick off day three on the main field at the Home of the Matildas with the action including five games across the Under-15 and Under-16 tournaments.

It will be a proving game for the Northern NSW side, who are sitting around the top end of the ladder and coming off a dominant showing against Capital Football on Thursday.

An undefeated Victoria Blue will be determined to finish off the pool stages of the Under-15 girls tournament with a big win over rivals South Australia on the main field.

The Victorians have only conceded one goal after the opening two rounds of action in Melbourne, with young striker Alexis Pantazopoulos leading the way up front.

Every match of the Football Australia Girls National Youth Championships will be exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV from July 3-8.

The boys tournament will also be exclusively live streamed from July 16-21.
