Chris Irakoze took his tournament tally to eight goals after scoring the winner that ensured South Australia enter the U15 Football Australia National Youth Championships quarter-finals with an unbeaten record.
Fresh from a three-goal haul against Northern Territory and four more in the demolition of NSW Country on Wednesday, Irakoze scored the only goal in the success over Northern NSW.
The reward for their impressive run in Pool D is a date with Queensland Maroon in Friday’s quarter-finals.
And they won’t be the only South Australian team in the final eight after the U16s also qualified.
A 5-2 success over Northern NSW, which featured a double from Amlani Tatu, ensured their safe passage and a match-up with Victoria Blue.
Meanwhile, Victorian star Luke Becvinovski continued his incredible goal-scoring run as his U15 side secured a quarter-finals berth.
The Melbourne City junior added another two to his impressive seven-goal tally in the 3-1 win over Queensland Maroon, including a stunning goal from a corner in the second half.
Becvinovski netted in his side’s opening round win against NSW Metro White before grabbing a hatful in the 10-1 victory against Capital Football.
Victoria Blue now go through to the next round undefeated and are set to face Northern NSW Football in the quarter-finals.

Red-hot South Australia’s credentials as title challengers in the U15 boys at the Football Australia National Youth Championships are set to be put to the test on Thursday.
The Croweaters, who have netted a remarkable 13 goals in their opening two games at the tournament in Wollongong, take on Northern NSW at 9am on Field 2.
It is one of six matches slated for JJ Kelly Park on day three with every game broadcast live and exclusive on KommunityTV.

A Chris Irakoze hat-trick led SA to a 5-0 drubbing of the Northern Territory in the championships opener before an even more impressive 8-1 thumping of NSW Country on Wednesday.
Irakoze bagged another four goals in that game – taking his total to seven in just two outings – and likely earning him plenty of attention from Northern NSW in their upcoming clash.
SA and NNSW will also do battle in another intriguing contest in the U16s at 10.15am, with both teams recording promising wins already.
