Victoria Metro have cashed in with both the Over 60s and Over 65s premierships at the AFL Masters National Carnival. Check out both games and all the other day four clashes in full REPLAY.

Victoria Metro has won their third straight premiership in the men’s Over 60s competition, smashing Western Australia by 59 points in the final at Fremantle Park.

After claiming the flag in 2022 and 2023, the Big V left no doubt who was winning this year, kicking two goals to zip and having the ball parked in their forward line for most of the first quarter to get on top early.

Victoria Metro continued the dominance in the next two terms, opening up a 39-point lead at the main break before holding a 58-point lead at the final change.

Western Australia fought back in the final term, kicking their only goal of the game, but Vic Metro did enough to win.

Vic Metro player David Whillas led all goalkickers with three with Wayne Allen kicking two.

Later in the day, Vic Metro A were again in scintillating form as they stormed to a thoroughly deserved Over 65s premiership.

A class above their rivals in fitness and skills, the Vics kept their Western Australia counterparts scoreless while taking turns at peppering their goal line on their way to a convincing 58-point victory.

They blasted out of the blocks with three goals in the first quarter and extended that 28 points at halftime.

But it was the second half where they built up a full head of steam as they piled on the pressure to run away for a 8.10 (58) win, one which could have been significantly bigger.

Both finals were part of more than 20 games on Friday to be shown LIVE and EXCLUSIVE on Kommunity TV.

In the showcase night matches, the national women’s All-Stars proved too strong for the indigenous women’s outfit, recording an 11-point win after setting it up in the first half.

Up seven points at the main break, the All Stars maintained their slender lead in the back half to get the desired 4.9 (33) to 3.4 (22) result.

It’s the business end of the AFL Masters for the oldest players at the tournament.

While the younger age groups have another game before their deciders, the Men’s 60s and 65s champions will be revealed after two massive games between traditional rivals on Friday at Fremantle Park.

The 60s final features two teams who have been in excellent form all week. Unbeaten Victoria Metro A take on hosts Western Australia from 1.40pm.

The Vics took down Victoria Country/NSW in their first game before three goals each from Stuart Locke and Peter Treseder saw off the challenge of Queensland.

The hosts have flourished under pressure, pulling off tight wins over South Australia and Victoria Country/NSW.

The 65s decider at 4.30pm features the same two states. The Big V piled on 70 points in their first game before five goals from Andrew Mathewson and four from Ian McCormack pushed them well past the century mark against NSW/SA.

Tasmania features twice on Fremantle Oval (Men 45s Div 2 as part of a combined team with NSW and Men 65s with Queensland) as a prelude to a huge day at the same venue on Saturday before the women’s and men’s All Stars v Indigenous games kick off at 7.30pm and 9pm respectively.

Fast forward 24 hours and all four Fremantle Oval finals (Men 35s, 40s, 50s Div 1 and 55s Div 1) on Saturday will feature Tasmania and Western Australia.

In other action on Friday, three of the five games at East Fremantle Oval see Queensland try to end their tournament in style, while the women take over Tom Perrott Reserve, with the ACT v WA White 35s game a definite standout.
