Meanwhile, reigning U18 boys champions Queensland Fiji saw off a tough challenge from Queensland Kiwis later in the evening - 17-12 - and are the only team to win both their games on Friday.

The Pacific Youth Rugby Festival, which includes cultural sides representing Australia’s proud Pacific Islander community, will give a stage for the next generation of players.
The tournament has grown exponentially in recent years, with 45 teams across eight divisions playing across four fields each day.
KommunityTV will live stream every match across the three-day tournament including all of Sunday’s semi-finals and grand finals.
