Round 2 - Boomerangs Sports Club get an easy path to round three with a forfeit, booking a match with Castlereagh after they were able to take down Brothers United.

WAC will have a blockbuster third round clash with either Tweed or Wiradjuri after they were able to account for the Toomelah Tigers on the back of a double from Troyden Dixon.

Wiradjuri had all the early running against Tweed and it took them eight minutes for Julian Christian to finally break the deadlock.

Shaillin Fuller was the man to get Tweed on the board with a lovely individual play as they led 8-6 at the break.

A beautiful short ball from Albert Kelly to Caleb Hodges extended the lead to six, before WAR tied things up again with seven minutes to play.

It was WAR who came out on top on the back of Clay Priest who made a break and handed off to speedster Denzel Burns to score the match winner.

Round 3 - Ben Barba helped Walgett post first points against Wiradjuri, with a nice kick unable to be contained by WAR, allowing Amaziah Murgha to touch down.

WAR hit back before the break to lock scores up at 6-all with 20 minutes to play.

The two were locked up for a solid portion of the second half before Grant Walford was able to bust through a tackle close to the line to give WAC the lead.

Boomerangs Sports Club showed they are a force to be reckoned with after racing in five first half tries in a demolition of Castlereagh All Blacks.

Round 2 - Waterloo and Blacktown will collide in a big round three match after they were able to deny Tamworth and Maitland respectively.

The Red Belly Warriors were able to account for Maitland 22-6, with Waterloo opening up a 16-0 lead to prove too strong for Tamworth.

It took almost 15 minutes for Combined Countries to post first points against Cabbage Tree Island with a Daniel Robert penalty goal to kick things off and give CC a 2-0 lead at the break.

The defence of Combined Countries was tested through the second half as Cabbo threw everything at them, and they eventually cracked with Brian Kelly pouncing on an error and getting it out to Mikey Kelly to score.

With just seconds remaining, it was Scott Jones who got the win for Combined Countries to steal the win.

“TJ was a really good mate and I nearly started tearing up when I scored. It means so much to play in his honour,” Jones told NITV after the win.

Dindima and South Taree couldn’t trouble the scorer through the opening half of their contest, but two tries from the former in the second was enough for them to progress.

Round 3 - Blacktown has knocked out Waterloo in a thrilling 20-18 contest.

The Storm scored first before the Red Belly Warriors were able to hit back with four tries to take out one of the games of the day.

Dindima will meet BRBW after they were far too strong in a 26-0 shutout of Combined Countries.

Round 2 - Campbelltown and SAB engaged in a real arm wrestle with the two locked at 4-all through the opening 20 minutes.

They will await Bourke in round three after they overpowered Kamilaroi with a strong performance.

Newcastle All Blacks scored first after a lovely run from Randall Briggs saw him slice through the Bundjalung defence to put Tom Chrislie over after 11 minutes.

NAB had all the running in the second half and a penalty in front of the posts allowed them to push the lead to 6-0 with five minutes remaining.

They sealed the win moments later with a front flip pick-up from Callum Briggs getting it onto Matthew Smith to score.

They now play La Perouse after they thrashed Cabbage Tree Island 2 who set the tone with a dominant 22-0 first half.

They hit the front early in the second half after a brilliant scrum play saw Garlen Pearce bamboozle the defence with dummies to touch down in the corner.

Narrandera hit back with Mikey Salafia hitting an offload at speed to find Wes Patten to put them in front by two, before Aldridge struck back almost immediately for Waterloo.
