SUNDAY saw the annual Tennis Gold Coast Inter-School Tennis Challenge take place, enjoyed by 300 school students representing 29 schools from across the Gold Coast.
It’s a team tennis event, where schools can enter as many doubles pairings as they like to compete in one of three different divisions. The first; Primary School – for years 4-6, the second; Middle School – for years 7-9 and the third; Secondary School – for years 10-12.
Teams must be made up of two players and can be both girls, both boys or mixed. The day is played out in the format of a round robin draw, followed by elimination play-offs to determine placements and winners.
