INSIDE MAIL – KEMBLA
RACE 1: Skin Revival Super Mdn Plate 1600m
BELLA MONTAGNA (5) makes her Australian debut. Placed runner-up in three of her five starts including the Group 2 Sir Patrick Hogan Stakes at Ellerslie on Jan 1. Led all-the-way to win her Apr 14 Randwick trial. COVERT THINKING (6) was squeezed out the back at the start on debut. Raced closer when a half-length second to Elivina over 1500m at Newcastle last start. REVERBERATES (9) was handy third to Impressionism when resuming at Newcastle on Apr 26.
Bet: Bella Montanga to win
RACE 2: The Race Against Suicide Race Day 21st June Mdn Hcp 1000m
NOBLE RUBY (11) is knocking on the door for her first win. Placed four of eight including three of her last four. Was beaten a neck here first-up and just caught late last start. FIREPOP (8) is a first starter by Shalaa from a half-sister to Ortensia. Jumped well and lead all-the-way to beat My Shareena in her Apr 29 Warwick Farm trial on a heavy track. Her stablemate CITY GOLD FIELD (1) is also on debut. By Deep Field, he is from a half-sister to Group 3 Ducasse. Has been good in finishing second in both trials.
Bet: Noble Ruby each-way
RACE 3: Peak Gardens Hcp (C1) 1000m
KING’S SECRET (2), who races in the same colours as his half-brother Private Eye, debuted with placings behind Benzou and Shangri La Spring. He resumed with a nice win from Justice Warrior over 1100m on a Soft track at Gosford. INOUE (1) placed at his first two starts in the spring. Also kicked off this campaign with a win at Gosford when he beat Poiema in a 1000m Super Maiden on a soft track. RUNRANIRUN (6) resumed with a safely held second to Flame Of Hestia at Newcastle. Didn’t handle the firm track at Albury last start.
Bet: King’s Secret to win
RACE 4: Cleaning World Wollongong Midway Mdn Plate 1400m
BOHEMIAN ART (8) was backed from $4.40 into $2.60 on debut after some nice trials. Sat outside Impressionism and fought on well to finish long head second at Newcastle on Apr 26. Will take plenty of improvement from the run. MONTE VEEBEE (4) has been runner-up in five of his eight starts including both runs this campaign. Went down as a short-priced favourite at Albury last start. Blinkers off and winkers go on. PROCLIVITY (5) was a handy second to Caltsar on debut at Newcastle after being inconvenienced near the 400m.
Bet: Bohemian Art each-way
RACE 5: Aib/ara Building Services Mdn Hcp 1200m
MAID OF MOOLAH (4) debuted with a handy neck second to Nymphadora in an 1100m Hawkesbury Super Maiden on April 5. Tracked the leader and bumped by eventual winner Silver Wedding when fourth at Canterbury second-up. PRINCE HARRISON (1) was third in his first two starts at Hawkesbury and Beaumont before heading to the Kensington on Jan 15 when a nose second to the promising Mailata. Took an inside run and arced away to a four length win in his Apr 17 Warwick Farm trial. CAPTAIN EAGLE (2) has claims on his close first-up second at Wyong.
Bet: Maid Of Moolah to win
RACE 6: Civona Skincare (Bm64) 1200m
LYLES (5) drove through from gate one to track the leader and boxed on well for third to Media World when resuming at Warwick Farm. Media World came out and won the Hawkesbury Guineas last weekend. Lyles is a second-up winner here. POWER BALLARD (3) hasn’t won for over 15 months but did beat Stefi Magnetica comfortably that day. Nice win in her recent Rosehill trial. MERCANTILIST (9) was very good winning at Gosford on debut. Drawn the outside so may wait for another day but a huge chance if she starts.
Bet: Lyles to win
RACE 7: 000 Plumbing Provincial (Bm68) 1400m
HYPERBOLIC (6) hard to beat but likely goes to Gosford. INVADE AND CONQUER (3) took control in front and raced away to a near four length win from Cashburn over this track and distance three starts back. Raced keenly when caught wide at Hawkesbury then outside the leader when fourth to Sizzler last start. Gets a 3kg claim and can bounce back. PRESIDES (2) kicked back to win at Newcastle before a second to Sizzler and a third to Flying Embers here. MISS HVAR (8) made a late start to her career but it was worth the wait with a strong closing win from Kuwait over 1300m here.
Bet: Hyperbolic to win, if scratched, Invade And Conquer to win
RACE 8: Dean Industrial (Bm64) 1600m
ELIVINA (9) debuted with a nice third to Tact here on Apr 15 before a tough win from Covert Thinking in a 1500m Newcastle Super Maiden. Up to the mile and bred to get further. HOOLIGAN TOMMY (3) will appreciate the drop in grade from a Randwick Midway last start. Won well at Goulburn and came from a long way back when second at Hawkesbury before that. FAST TRACK (10) has claims on his debut win here.
Bet: Elivina each-way
