VALUE BET

Placed two of three including one at this venue. Has the talent.

QUADDIE

Race 6: 4,10

Race 7: 6,11

Race 8: 3,4,5,8

JOCKEY TO FOLLOW

Keagan Latham will be popular in the TAB Jockeys Premiership.

GOULBURN INSIDE MAIL

RACE 5: BENCHMARK 58 (1000m)

Woodzy is trained at Goulburn by Danny Williams. This will be the horse’s sixth run at the venue, he’s finished runner-up twice including at his last outing when a distant second to the fast and handy My Last Hooray. Getty is a speedy horse drawn to get every chance at his pet distance. Mood Killer’s only win so far was first-up over five furlongs as is the case on Tuesday.

Bet: Woodzy to win, exacta 6 to beat 7

RACE 6: MAIDEN PLATE (1000m)

Blue Moves has a second and a third from three starts. That second was (by a nose) in the Miss Finland at Muswellbrook while the third was here at Goulburn prior to a spell. The Michael Freedman-trained filly trialled better than it reads at Randwick albeit a month ago now. Star Pastures wears the world famous Swettenham Stud colours. This Waterhouse/Bott mare is ready to go the races now and acquit herself well. Pretty Cheeky has been trialling fantastic.

Bet: Blue Moves each-way, box trifecta 4,7,10,11,14, DD 1st Leg (10), 2nd Leg (8)

RACE 7: BENCHMARK 66 (1300m)

Dashing Rupert was $1.70 into $1.30 when he won his debut - easily - against four others in a 1000m Maiden here on Sep 13. Might not have been the best Maiden ever run, but he ran a good last 600m. Was trialling like a good horse too before that. Stormy Witness has only won twice in 16 starts but crucially, they were both first-up and one of them was at this same home track and distance. Can make this favourite work for the win. Our Lady Stardust has metro and provincial form.

Bet: Dashing Rupert to win, quinella 6,11

RACE 8: CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1400m)

Media Frenzy will be ridden for the fifth time in her career on Tuesday by last Saturday’s Epsom-winning jockey, Reece Jones, who has placed twice on the John Thompson-trained mare. Most pertinent point to make is that her only win thus far was here are Goulburn and she won easily. Hugely interested to see how Sir Lunchalots follows up on that narrow but impressive debut Maiden win here at home. Ladyking could/should be finishing rapidly at the end of 1400m first-up.

Bet: Media Frenzy to win, exacta 8 to beat 5

KEMPSEY TIPS

BEST BET

Race 4 No.11: Aged Care

Kris Lees gelding who has the form and the recent trials to win.

NEXT BEST

Race 7 No.12: Exceedaqa

Broke her maiden here last start with her head on her chest. Follow up.

VALUE BET

Race 2 No.6: Ausbred Cooee

Very fit and fairly reliable type in the right race - again.

KEMPSEY INSIDE MAIL

RACE 4: MAIDEN PLATE (1000m)

Aged Care is a Kris Lees-trained son of Doncaster winner Brutal who kicked off with a second placing in a 900m Newcastle Maiden before an outstanding fourth in the $200,000 Inglis Challenge at Scone. Trialling like the winner. Angelinthenightsky is a Jeff Kehoe trainer and Jeff Kehoe ride on Tuesday with the draw to produce her best run yet. Ditto that somewhat for All Too Edie who is way better than her 16 starts, zero wins/places CV.

Bet: Aged Care to win

RACE 5: CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1000m)

Murwood Wolf’s form reads a bit hot and cold but to be fair, he often gets back in his races and is therefore dependent on outside factors like luck and tempo, etc. There is no doubt when circumstances do permit that he has the ability. Casino Bear’s last five or six runs (either side of the spell) have been very good indeed. He has been placed at 1000m all the way up to 2000m so is a handy enough galloper. Big watch on Typhoon Neta who has mixed and matched it with better horses in better races than this.

Bet: Murwood’s Wolf each-way, Typhoon Neta to place

RACE 6: CLASS 3 HANDICAP (1450m)

All Too Rosey is a Tony Ball mare who has won twice from 25 starts but keep in mind that she has won two of her four starts and the one on Sep 2 was a 1450m Class 1 here at Kempsey. Chased home Who Ever Thought last start and beat the others easily. Drawn to get every chance. Foolish was a Wyong 64 Midway winner three starts ago. Nothing wrong with the two after that. Makes serious appeal here. Flyball put up a good showing last start when runner-up to Agirlsbestfriend.

Bet: All Too Rosey to win, box First 4 Nos. 1,2,4,6,10

RACE 7: BENCHMARK 58 (1250m)

Exceedaqa is trained by Kris Lees who boasts a 30 per cent winning strike-rate at Kempsey and 62.6 per cent when placings are added. Exceedaqa helped boost that hefty strike-rate when she beat Hoo Haa quite comfortably in the end in a 1250m Maiden here on Sep 19. That win came after her fourth to Sprit Of Wealth at Newcastle. Speaking of confident horses, Sumo Fish, was building up to that emphatic win in a good-looking 58 at Taree. Super Jaie beat Sumo Fish two runs back here.

Bet: Exceedaqa to win
