WEDNESDAY MEETINGS: Murray Bridge (10 races, 12.23pm), Warwick Farm (8 races, 1.10pm), Doomben (8 races, 1.18pm), Caulfield (8 races, 1.25pm), Bunbury (8 races, 4pm).
WARWICK FARM
SPORTSMAN PREVIEW: WARWICK FARM
BRAD DAVIDSON (Daily Telegraph)
MR WIND
Race 3, No. 9
Bolted in on debut at Doomben and then baulked shortly after the start in a good race at Eagle Farm last start before racing wide throughout. He was still only beaten 2 ½ lengths and this looks no harder. Ready to bounce back from the good draw.
JOHN DAVIS (Daily Telegraph)
TATOOSH
Race 7, No. 7
Should be ready to strike form now and is up to a distance range where he has been placed. Lacks gate speed but that is offset by a favourable barrier draw and if they go helter skelter, he can finish over the top of them at a decent price.
SHAYNE O’CASS (Sportsman)
KENTUCKY MISS
Race 8, No. 9
Won the Cap D’Antibes up the straight at Flemington on September 10. She’s been home since and trialled like a bomb at Warwick Farm last Friday. She’s a 3YO taking on open class mares and males but you can’t fault her form.
CAULFIELD
SPORTSMAN PREVIEW: CAULFIELD
MICHAEL MANLEY (Herald Sun)
FLYING ARTIE
Race 6, No. 1
One of the best two-year-olds in the land resuming from a spell. Formlines stack up wherever you look — Extreme Choice, Star Turn, Yankee Rose and Capitalist are horses he’s either beaten or been placed behind. Performed well in jump-out and will take beating.
MURRAY BRIDGE
LINCOLN MOORE (The Advertiser)
ALITAKA (Scratched)
Race 10, No. 5
Nice effort first-up from a short break. Good Morphettville win four runs back and should give this a shake from the good barrier.
