CANTERBURY

SPORTSMAN PREVIEW: CANTERBURY

BRAD DAVIDSON (Daily Telegraph)

INVINCIBELLA

Race 4, No. 10

Drawn awkwardly but her form last preparation was very good and she won’t be a maiden for long. Needs luck early but no one is riding better than Brenton Avdulla in Sydney at the moment and I will back him to get the job done.

STEPHEN ZAMMIT (Daily Telegraph)

REINCARNATE

Race 5, No. 5

Trained by John O’Shea, this gelding has a formidable record, and resumes here after a solid third of 10 over 1200m Rosehill on May 7. He has been prepared for this with a strong 4-length 2nd Magic Jewel 740m Warwick Farm barrier trial on August 26. Proven fresh and will be hitting the line hard at the right end of this.

SHAYNE O’CASS (Sportsman)

INVINCIBELLA

Race 4, No. 10

Is a Chris Waller filly that races in the purple and white colours of Star Thoroughbreds; the same that Foxplay carried to victory in last weekend’s Furious Stakes. As for Invinicbella, she is 4s 0-3-0, one of them was a half-length 2nd in the Listed BRC Lancaster in Brisbane, the other two were both nose defeats here at Canterbury. Trialled huge the other day!

SANDOWN (LAKESIDE)

MICHAEL MANLEY (Herald Sun)

DEMONSTRATE

Race 6, No. 1

Group 2 placegetter two starts ago in Adelaide resuming from a spell. Looks well placed to resume with a win in this.

GAWLER

LINCOLN MOORE (The Advertiser)

SUPER HAZE

Race 10, No. 2

Ran favourite at Murray Bridge when disappointing in April. Was placed at his previous two in Melbourne, has trialled OK for this and looks hard to beat.
