LISTEN TO THE SUPERRACING PREVIEW OF WARWICK FARM
WARWICK FARM
STEPHEN ZAMMIT (Daily Telegraph)
CRYSTAL FLUTE
Race 3, No. 1
This filly from the Gerald Ryan yard was runner-up on debut then came from a mile back to grab the minor placing over 1200m at Canterbury on October 23. Gets out to 1400m here and will be finishing right over the top of her rivals.
JOHN DAVIS (Daily Telegraph)
CRYSTAL FLUTE
Race 3, No. 1
Was scratched from Rosehill last weekend to be saved for this race and her two runs have been first class in similar company. Rates highly.
SHAYNE O’CASS (Sportsman)
MALIBU RAIN
Race 2, No. 9
Is a really nice horse. The David Payne-trained gelding has had four trials and one run. That’s two trials each side of the run which was a 9th of 10 at Gosford beaten a long way back on August 7. He was $31 so we can overlook the run pretty much altogether. His two trials this time have been a last and a first but I can tell you that he went super when he was last and unbelievable when he was first. He still might be a little rough around the edges — hence the noseroll, and that’s all that worries me — his inexperience.
BENDIGO
MICHAEL MANLEY (Herald Sun)
MINETTI
Race 6, No. 8
Smart three-year-old filly who was outclassed last start at Flemington. Go on easy win at Ballarat over 1000m before that.
DANNY RUSSELL (Herald Sun)
MIHANY
Race 5, No. 1
Last-start winner in same class. Up in weight, but should get a cold sit from inside gate and step up to 1300m suits.
IPSWICH
BRAD DAVIDSON (Gold Coast Bulletin)
CATENACCIO
Race 4, No. 7
Three-year-old filly from the Rob Heathcote yard who caught the eye with a strong maiden win at the Sunshine Coast two starts back and then she wasn’t far away in Saturday city grade last start. She will relish the step up to 1350m and she just needs to get around Ipswich to go close.
MURRAY BRIDGE
LINCOLN MOORE (The Advertiser)
ILOVEWHATSEBRINGS
Race 8, No. 1
Resuming here and had some form around handy types when last in work. Defeated Beau’s My Boy three starts back before placed behind Zeprise Journey (Morphettville winner on Saturday) and Maryore last time who has ability. Gets in well with the claim for Dylan Caboche and can turn around a winless first-up record here.
