OUR experts give you an early shot at finding that elusive midweek winner.

WEDNESDAY MEETINGS: Warrnambool (10 races, 11.30am), Warwick Farm (7 races, 1pm), Sunshine Coast (7 races, 12.45pm), Murray Bridge (8 races, 12.30pm), Belmont (8 races, 2.50pm).

WARWICK FARM

NIC ASHMAN (Daily Telegraph)

JERICHO (Race 2, No. 2)

Good type of colt that looks to have taken huge benefit from his spell as evidenced in two smart trials ahead of his return here.

STEPHEN ZAMMIT (Daily Telegraph)

DIVINE SANCTION

Race 7, No. 10

This is a smart gelding trained by John O’Shea. He debuted with a gutsy second at Canterbury on December 2. Charged home from the tail for a most impressive win at Kembla Grange. On the way up and this looks right up his alley. Hard to beat again.

SHAYNE O’CASS (Sportsman)

DIVINE SANCTION

Race 7, No. 10

Is Classic material and a Cups contender, that’s Caulfield and Melbourne Cups folks! I think he is a G1 horse and he’ll develop — in time — to be the best homegrown stayer in the whole Godolphin army. If he gets beaten on Wednesday — and I seriously doubt he will — it will only be because he wants more ground straight away.

WARRNAMBOOL

MICHAEL MANLEY (Herald Sun)

HEZA RIPPER

Race 10, No. 10

Ran on nicely last start for second at Sandown. Step up to 1400m is ideal. Also suited by wet track.

SUNSHINE COAST

BEN DORRIES (The Courier-Mail)

EVERYBODY HAPPY

Race 3, No. 7

This mare produced a pleasing first-up effort and if you go back through the form, has some decent runs behind impressive types like Elegant Composure and Danish Twist.

MURRAY BRIDGE

LINCOLN MOORE (The Advertiser)

TOP FOX

Race 2, No. 10

Good effort on debut at Oakbank before finishing down the track in town after racing handy to the speed in a good race last time. Looks nicely suited here and gets her chance
