Police and security were on high alert throughout the event but the strong crowd of about 5000 did little to catch their attention.
Headline act Hilltop Hoods didn’t disappoint the eager fans, busting out their hit tracks from the beginning of their set.
“It’s a pleasure to be back in this beautiful place,” the hip hop band said to the audience.
Hilltop Hoods fan Leigh Godden travelled from Caloundra with her family just to see her first performance by the boys perform.
“It is fantastic … it (the event) is much more organised then I thought it would be and I was worried about bringing the kids along but no way it’s great,” she said.
“Hilltop Hoods are the best hip hop band in the world and we love them together, the V8’s and the Hilltop Hoods.
The concert capped off a successful day of racing, allowing race goers to let down their hair and celebrate ahead of the final day of racing.
American rapper Lil Jon and Australian hip hop group Thundamentals also entertained at the concert.
