Whinging Pom’s ‘full scale meltdown’ goes viral as English fan attacks ‘natives’

They don’t call them whinging Poms for nothing with one fan’s complete meltdown going viral as Australia claimed a 2-0 Ashes series lead.

England fans are not coping well with the chirpy Aussie supporters or the fact that they are now down 2-0 in the Ashes series.

Ben Stokes dug in on Day 4, compiling a gritty captain’s knock with the bat — playing defensively with not a hint of Bazball to give his side a slender lead and set Australia a nervy chase to win.

But the Aussies quickly extinguished any hope of England pulling a win out of the fire, dismissing the English side for just 241 and chasing down the 65 required in 10 overs.

The English in the crowd were unsurprisingly grumbly, as they have been throughout the series, with one Brit encapsulating what it is to be a whinging Pom.

After Mitchell Starc gave Australia a handy 177-run lead before England’s top order collapsed to be six wickets down on Day 3, one fan’s foul-mouthed text message rant to family and friends was exposed.

Footage of his WhatsApp messages went viral on Sunday, shared by the Instagram account The 28 Year Old Male.

The man kitted out in a replica shirt worn by the Brits’ 1992 Cricket World Cup side complained about the chirpy supporters around him, the Aussie accent and a crisp cold beer.

“Surrounded by C***s. The English are keeping their heads down,” one message read.

“Wayney, the accents behind me and the crass comments irk,” another said.

He also slandered the Aussie beer.

“The beer is expensive horse piss yet the natives still get pissed and remain unfunny,” he continued.

“Culture less country of c***s. I certainly won’t be returning.”

The video attracted hundreds of comments, many amused by the angry Brit.

“Hahahhhaa omg this is gold,” Australian actor Mike Goldman commented.

“Couldn’t be rattled could he?” Nat Martin added.

“A full scale meltdown that,” another wrote.
