A former member of the National Performance Squad, the diminutive wicketkeeper-batsman played two seasons of first grade at Souths but has not played since 2016-17.

2. MAX HOULAHAN

Captain of the Gold Coast Dolphins’ first grade side last season, the 23-year-old left-hander has split his time behind first and second grade in 2019-20.

3. NICK STEVENS

After playing six Sheffield Shield games for Queensland between 2013-15, the former Dolphins captain has spent the past two campaigns at Valleys, where he has 545 runs at 32.06 this season.

4. SAM HAIN

A prolific runscorer in English County cricket, Hain played for the England Lions against the Cricket Australia XI at Metricon earlier this month as he pushes for a Test debut.

5. HUGO BURDON

A Queensland under-17 and under-19 representative, the 18-year-old all-rounder is now a key member of the Dolphins’ first grade side.

6. SOL BUDINGER (VC)

A two-time premiership winner with TSS, Budinger signed a two-year deal with English County side Nottinghamshire late last year.

7. DYLAN RILEY

A natural athlete, the 23-year-old spent time with Brisbane City in the National Rugby Championship and is now playing for Japan’s Wild Knights.

8. MATT KUHNEMANN

Captain of the Dolphins’ first grade side, the left-arm offspinner is a Queensland one-day regular and Brisbane Heat squad member.

9. JOSH KANN

An Australian under-19 representative in 2018-19, the fast-bowling all-rounder was this season handed a QAS contract and continues to push for higher honours.

10. BLAIR TICKNER

The 26-year-old quick has gone on to forge a successful first-class career in New Zealand, playing five Twenty20 internationals for the Black Caps and representing New Zealand A.

‘HE’S JUST A LEVEL ABOVE’ - FINS’ UNSUNG HERO IN FINALS PUSH

11. BILLY STANLAKE

With seven One-Day Internationals and 19 T20 Internationals under his belt, the 25-year-old quick is still highly regarded by Cricket Australia, despite battling for form with Adelaide during the recently-completed Big Bash League.

12TH MAN CALLUM TAYLOR

A middle-order batsman and handy offspinner, Taylor played first grade for Souths before making his Twenty20 debut for English County side Glamorgan last season.
