More tickets have been released for the Shane Warne memorial service at the MCG on March 30 where the legend of Australian cricket will be farewelled in front of up to 65,000 fans.

The 52-year-old tragically died earlier this month after suffering a heart attack while on holiday in Thailand.

He was farewelled in private by his family and close friends a fortnight ago but fans will be given the chance to celebrate his life with a two-hour event at the MCG.

Warne’s family have requested that attendess to the event dress in cricket gear to celebrate their father, son and brother.

Eddie McGuire will be the master of ceremonies with big names from the cricket world, Warne’s family and his celebrity friends set to speak and perform.

Keith Warne - Shane's father - is understood to be opening the tributes at 7pm.

Warne’s children Brooke, 24, Jackson, 22, and Summer, 20 are also expected to speak.

“Tomorrow night is going to be something spectacular,” McGuire said.

“This is going to be one of the greatest events in the history of this city.”

Experts have predicted that billions of people around the world will tune in for the show with multiple international TV crews flying in.

GUEST LIST

Robbie Williams is the latest big name confirmed to farewell Warne.

Williams adds to the star power with Elton John and Ed Sheeran also previously announced to sing at the state memorial.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin is expected to appear through video tribute.

West Indies legend Brian Lara, former England captain Nasser Hussain, former Pakistan bowler Wasim Akram, are flying in to pay their respects at the MCG.

Friends of Warne from around the world who could not be there, including Greg Norman, former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming, and Indian batting great Sachin Tendulkar will do video tributes.

Warne’s former fiancee Liz Hurley will not be flying into Melbourne but is expected to be part of the show.
