Unpredictable bowlers have a history of prospering in Twenty20 cricket.
But in SuperCoach BBL, coaches should strive for predictability in their bowling ranks.
Bowlers need to deliver at least two overs a game to be eligible for the economy rate bonus and every ball they bowl increases their chances of taking a wicket (worth 25 points).

Perth Scorchers have been stung by injuries to Andrew Tye and Jason Behrendorff after the departure of spearhead Nathan Coulter-Nile to Melbourne Stars.
However, the Scorchers’ loss will likely prove every SuperCoaches’ gain.
Jhye Richardson, Matthew Kelly and Joel Paris are all but certain to be Perth’s first-choice seamers and the loss of Coutler-Nile, Tye and Behrendorff should guarantee them four overs a game.
Brisbane Heat has great depth in its spinning stocks, but its pace depth will be tested throughout BBL09.
James Pattinson could yet feature in the Test squad to face New Zealand, which would leave Josh Lalor, Mark Steketee and Ben Cutting to shoulder the seam-bowling load.
Much like Perth, the Heat’s shortage of quicks should be good news for SuperCoaches.
Teams replete with bowling options — such as Melbourne Stars last summer — can cause headaches in SuperCoach BBL.
One bad over can cost a player further opportunities and limit their SuperCoach output.
