SuperCoach BBL: All the late mail, whispers and squad news ahead of BBL finals
Just when we thought picking our finals XI was difficult enough – now we have two more elite bowlers to choose from. Meanwhile, a SuperCoach staple and a young spin sensation will not feature in the finals.
SuperCoach BBL
Don't miss out on the headlines from SuperCoach BBL. Followed categories will be added to My News.
Not one, but two SuperCoach stars are set to return for SuperCoach finals.
BBL stalwart Sean Abbott ($232.6k, BWL) and revelation Haris Rauf ($177.4k, BWL) will boost the Sixers and Stars respectively sides for their qualifier match-up on Friday night.
Abbott hasn’t played since the Sixers’ Round 5 double due to a side strain injury he suffered against Sydney Thunder, while Rauf returns following his T20I debut for Pakistan.
He continued his meteoric rise with figures of 1/32 and 1/27 in two matches against Bangladesh.
Heâs back! @HarisRauf14 has returned to the Stars squad following @TheRealPCB T20I series.

The pair rank in the top four for average in BBL09 and both can turn it on in the first round of finals.
Rauf comes at a far greater discount than Abbott, but the Sixers star claimed 11 wickets in just five games before his injury, taking a wicket every 11 deliveries.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani speedster has 16 wickets at a phenemonal strike rate of 10.
Is it worth nabbing both of these wicker-takers for their upcoming final?

CURRAN LEAVES SIXERS
Here is one man to ensure you trade OUT of your side. He has been a loyal servant this season, but Tom Curran will not feature in the BBL finals as he joins the English ODI side for their series in South Africa. Curran has averaged 70.5 SuperCoach points per game in BBL09 and went out with a bang, posting 113 points against the Renegades in his final match of the season.
Huge final thank you and goodbye to everyone involved @SixersBBL and itâs amazing fans. So pleased to have been apart of another successful and extremely enjoyable campaign in the @BBL - what a tournament! Now bring the trophy homeð

PAKISTAN QUICK TO COVER LAMICHHANE LOSS
It was a debut to forget for Pakistan quick Dilbar Hussain ($47.7k, BWL), but he has the all clear to remain on the Melbourne Stars’ roster.
He will attempt to fill the avoid of gun Nepalese spinner Sandeep Lamichhane, who has left the Stars to represent his country.
Hussain was carted by the Heat batsman, finishing with figures of 1/56, claiming his first BBL wicket on the very last ball of his spell. He could be worth starting on your bench as a potential cash cow if he fires, increasing your team value for later final’s rounds.
