‘Slit your throat’: Former boxing champion Amir Khan caught among sexting scandal threats

Former world boxing champion Amir Khan has been caught amid an aggressive sexting scandal involving his wife and a number of other women.

The marriage between former world boxing champion, Amir Khan, and his wife, beauty influencer Faryal Makhdoom, was rocked by a sexting scandal exposed in July, the New York Post reports.

Things took a troubling turn recently when she allegedly berated another woman linked to her husband.

The drama first emerged when The Sun reported last month that Khan was sexting a woman named Sumaira — a 25-year-old bridal model from the UK — in May, around the couple’s 10th wedding anniversary, and begging her for inappropriate photos.

Makhdoom furiously confronted Khan at their home in Dubai, per the outlet, which reported that he apologised to his wife and acknowledged he “made mistakes” that “hurt” her.

Khan also said he was “willing to go to therapy to stop me sending texts to women who aren’t my wife.”

The couple, who share three children together, reportedly was working on their marital troubles after the news went public.

As for the latest? The Sun published a separate report Tuesday that Makhdoom launched a verbal attack over the phone on another unnamed woman who her husband met in Dubai.

In an audio recording obtained by the outlet, Makhdoom said: “If you ever contact Amir again, I will slit your f – king throat.”

The influencer, who’s been married to Khan since 2013, allegedly told the woman she hoped she would “die of cancer.”

“You should be scared of me, b — h, you should be scared of me,” Makhdoom said. “I hope one day you die with cancer, b — h, okay?

“Now. go hang up. F – k off now. Dumb b — h.”

The phone conversation continued with Makhdoom accusing the woman of sleeping with married men.

“I’m the biggest Asian, all right, and girls like you look up to me,” Makhdoom said. “And you sleep with married men — b — h.

“Have you seen the state of you? You think you look like me? B — h, you wish you looked like me.”

Sumaira acknowledged The Sun’s story in a number of Instagram Story posts Tuesday.

Last week, Makhdoom separately denied claims that she threatened to destroy former BBC presenter, Suzi Mann, who accused Khan of sending her “flirty” messages and making “sexual advances” after they first met in 2016, when she hosted a concert in Manchester.

The latest news came just a few weeks after Makhdoom addressed the sexting scandal on social media.

“Amir and Sumaira are both adults who engaged in consented communication,” Makhdoom wrote in a lengthy note on Instagram on July 16, adding that she was humiliated by the matter. “They didn’t not consult me when exchanging messages nor did they consider or respect me when building a ‘bond’ … How I deal with my marriage and my husband is not the concern of anyone else. I refuse to play out my marriage publicly.

“Sumaira only decided to contact me directly after taking Amir’s number, sharing life stories and images all while under Amir’s clear instructions of not messaging him while I was around.”

Makhdoom concluded the message saying that she is focused on her children and shielding them from the situation — and asked for respect and privacy during a sensitive time.

A few days later, Sumaira responded to Makhdoom with a lengthy note on Instagram.

“I’ve been in a very dark place,” Sumaira wrote, adding that she received death threats over the situation.

Sumaira claimed in her note that Khan told her his marriage with Makhdoom was a “business agreement.”

“When Amir Khan’s behaviour became inappropriate and his lies became evident to me, I reached out to Faryal Makhdoom,” she said.

Sumaira also alleged that “Amir lied and stated I sent him nudes and then blackmailed him for 20k.”

She added that Khan and Makhdoom “have ruined my life” and negatively impacted her mental health, family life and income.

According to The Sun, Sumaira said Khan “spun me a bit of a sob story, and to begin with I felt sorry for him and thought he was lonely.”

Khan and Makhdoom were living apart as of last month, according to The Sun, which reported the pair was splitting time between their homes in Dubai and the U.K., while working on their marriage.

Things appear to be fine between Khan and Makhdoom, as they have remained a united front on social media.

Khan surprised Makhdoom with a grey G Wagon that was wrapped in a giant red bow.

“Little gift for @faryalmakhdoom,” he wrote on Instagram, including a video of his wife driving her new car. “I know how much she loves G wagons so I wanted to surprise her. Hope you like it 🙏🏼.”

Khan also shared a birthday tribute to Makhdoom on Instagram in late July, writing at the time: “Happy birthday Faryal. You deserve the world and more.”

The couple made headlines last September when Khan expressed regret for accusing fellow boxer and former friend, Anthony Joshua, of sleeping with his wife while they were going through a rough patch in 2017.

That came after Khan and Makhdoom were robbed at gunpoint in London in April 2022.
