The Bulldogs are officially the money men of SuperCoach.
Coming off career-best seasons, Marcus Bontempelli and Tim English are in rare air as the only two players priced above the $700k in 2024.
At $724,600 and $715,100, respectively, the star duo are well clear of Demon Clayton Oliver ($674,100 MID), who will start next year as the third-most expensive player in the game.
In 2023, only Crow Rory Laird hit the $700k mark – and he only just made it.
Bontempelli reached three figures in all but one game last season on his way to a career-high 129-point average, while English recorded 13 scores of 130 or more to sit 39 points behind his skipper in the overall standings.
Tom Liberatore ($648,600) makes it three in the top-eight of the SuperCoach rich list for Luke Beveridge’s men.
You have to scroll a long way down to find a player who used to enjoy these lofty heights, Jack Macrae.
For the first time since 2016, the once-reliable SuperCoach ball magnet failed to reach three figures, averaging 99.9 after being pushed forward and out on to a wing.
But with Bailey Smith tearing his ACL at training, there’s fresh hope Macrae might see more midfield time again in 2024.
And, given the lack of premium forwards, SuperCoaches are counting on Beveridge.
What could go wrong?

VALUE PICKS: THE EARLY PRE-SEASON MUST HAVES
At $558,400, Macrae is the most expensive option in a forward line pool which has lost Josh Dunkley, Zak Butters, Errol Gulden and Connor Rozee, just to name a few.
Fremantle big man Luke Jackson ($547,000 RUCK) and Coleman Medallist Charlie Curnow ($545,000) sitting next on the list highlights just how different SuperCoach forward lines might look in 2024.
Thankfully, there’s some value, headlined by breakout Gold Coast midfielder Sam Flanders ($494,300 MID-FWD), Tiger Tom Lynch ($287,300) and boom draftee Harley Reid ($207,300 MID-FWD).
As the No. 1 draft pick, Reid is the most expensive of the first-year rookies, while seventeen players have been handed the bargain basement price tag of $102,400, headlined by mature-age draftees Finnbar Maley (North Melbourne) and Sam Clohesy (Gold Coast).
