Check back in here for full scores from every practice match this week, the final fixture on Sunday.
RICHMOND V COLLINGWOOD
He’s one of the 10 most expensive players in the game, but Nick Daicos (153 points — $631,400) declared you’d be a fool not to have him in your side, ripping the Tigers to shreds.
New Magpie Harry Perryman(122 points — $417,500) was another who featured prominently, featuring in plenty of CBA’s, his price may be a bit higher but as a defender with that amount of time in the middle, he may be one to watch.
For the Tigers, well it was a dirty night, but maybe there’s light in the performance of the skipper Toby Nankervis (131 points — $590,000).
Luke Trainor (39 points — $113,500) was able to get his hands on the footy easily with not much time on the ground.
ESSENDON v GEELONG
There were a number of young guns who impressed in Tuesday night’s practice match. We can all lock Isaac Kako (97 points — $149,500)into our sides after a brilliant four-goal performance. A touch more expensive, but Elijah Tsatas (90 points — $191,200) also looks like a must-have after amassing 31 disposals and 10 clearances. For the Cats, Tom Stewart (95 points — $521,000) patrolled the back half while Gryan Miers (85 points — $441,400) surprised with 30 disposals. Geelong captain Patrick Dangerfield foreshadowed a bumper pre-season for Mitch Knevitt (70 points — $149,800) and he was right, with the third-year Cat capping off a standout summer with 22 touches and 10 contested possessions. In the VFL match, Saad El-Hawli ($119,900) was proficient without being dominant. It looks very unlikely now he will play Opening Round.
