Perth nightclubs have been overrun with Demons.
Footage of Max Gawn and his Melbourne teammates celebrating their AFL Grand Final triumph is circulating on social media — and they have undeniably earned the chance to unwind.
The Demons broke a 57-year premiership drought on Saturday evening, comfortably toppling the Western Bulldogs 21.14 (140) to 10.6 (66) at Optus Stadium.

It didn’t take long for the players to start preparing for a long night of partying, with Channel 7’s cameras capturing the moment Melbourne defender Steven May skolled a spectator’s beer minutes after the final siren.
After returning to the sheds, Demons players were filmed singing anthemic hits Sweet Caroline, Mr Brightside and the club song while enjoying some well-earned beverages.
One of the best clips to emerge on social media was of Gawn downing a bottle of champagne on someone’s shoulders with a horde of adoring fans watching on.

Demons midfielder Angus Brayshaw appeared on Channel 9’s Sunday Footy Show the following morning, and it’s fair to say he was a bit dusty.
“My voice is ruined, a lot of shouting yesterday, so I don’t sound terrific,” he said.
“I had a great night. I wanted to appreciate this morning and this moment, so I haven’t gone super hard.”
Brayshaw also confirmed he went clubbing in full playing gear, including the boots.
“I didn’t have time to take it all off,” he said. “It got a bit slippery on the boots. Great on a footy ground, terrible on a pub floor.
“Nearly had a few spills but I’m here, I’m in one piece.”
The 25-year-old gave skipper Gawn three points for best on ground in the post-match celebrations — and it’s not hard to see why, as he carried coach Simon Goodwin on his shoulders while the party rolled on.
Another clip showed Norm Smith Medal recipient Christian Petracca taking charge of the turntables at a club in his Demons jersey, while James Harmes pulled out some slick moves too.

“I just look out here and it’s really dawned on me now that we’ve done something incredibly special for our people,” Goodwin said at Sunday’s post-grand final presentation in Perth’s CBD.
“It’s been 57 years, we’re bringing the cup home.
“We’ve got a special bunch of players, but we’ve also got a special bunch of staff over here.
“The amount of work that goes into building a strong footy club, it takes a lot of united people and we’re very lucky at the moment – that’s what we’ve got at the footy club and it’s very special to be around.”
Meanwhile, Western Bulldogs young gun Bailey Smith was spotted drowning his sorrows with teammates after the heavy defeat.
