The Sandringham Dragons have easily accounted for the Oakleigh Chargers, claiming a thumping 98 point win at RSEA Park in Moorabbin.
Both sides were depleted with a number of top-end draft prospects selected in the Victorian U19 national championships trial games taking place on Sunday afternoon.

Potential top-10 draft pick Josh Sinn made a promising return from injury for the Dragons and got better as the game went on, while St Kilda-listed ruckman Max Heath was a dominant force at centre-bounces.
Carlton father-son prospect Charlie McKay, overlooked in last year’s draft, benefitted from Heath’s tapwork, finding plenty the ball in the coalface.

The Dragons’ key forwards had no shortage of delivery and 202cm mid-season draft hopeful Felix Flockhart was among their best performers, particularly in the first half when he booted two goals.
Tall forward Archie Loughnan was another who shone with his overhead marking and presenting around the ground, while Joe Nowell also took some nice grabs and hit the scoreboard.
Meanwhile, Lochlan Jenkins battled hard through the midfield for Oakleigh and Max Thompson provided one of the few highlights for the Chargers with a memorable snapping goal in the first term.
