AFL Queensland is investigating the conduct of two local junior football clubs following an incident at the SEQ junior finals on Saturday.

Surfers Paradise Demons and Palm Beach Currumbin Lions played their Boys Division 2 (SEQ Juniors) grand final at 8:30am on Saturday. The finals were hosted by the Broadbeach Cats.
Surfers Paradise won the tight contest 6.8.44 to 6.4.40 but it’s an alleged altercation that occured between what is understood to be a player and an opposing official at the conclusion of a game that has drawn the attention of AFLQ.
The live stream of the match, initially provided on YouTube by AFL Queensland, has since been made private.
“AFL Queensland is investigating an alleged incident that occurred on the conclusion of the U15 Boys Division 2 Gold Coast/Northern Rivers Grand Final between Surfers Paradise and Palm Beach Currumbin on Saturday,” a spokesperson said.
No further comments have been made. Both clubs have been contacted for comment.
