Plans have been revealed for a new adult shop in the heart of Surfers Paradise.
Brad Heathcote has lodged a submission with Gold Coast City Council for a 62sq m tenancy in a three-storey building on Laycock St.
It will neighbour Curry Express.
The operator says in the report that the shop would operate from 10.30am until midnight seven days a week, with a single staff member onsite at any time.
“The proposed use is intended to operate primarily as an adult store where goods described within the land use will be displayed and sold,” the report reads.
“The majority of the floor area is to be used for the display and sale of goods.
“A small office/storage room is located at the rear of (the) tenancy and will be used for the storage of goods for sale.”
