A high-end penthouse aimed at the rich celebrity market – and dubbed a “postcard for Gold Coast tourism” – has been unveiled.
Construction of the SUR building at Kirra Beach has been completed, with the two-level penthouse having 13-foot high ceilings and beach frontage going on the market, with an expressions of interest campaign launched.
The beachfront Musgrave St building, by developer Cru Collective, has just 10 units, including the penthouse, with the remaining nine already sold and settled before Christmas.
The two-level penthouse is marketed as a “one-of-a-kind property” which is “a postcard for Gold Coast tourism”.
“This recently completed trophy home presents a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a unique piece of real estate that can never be repeated,” the project’s marketing material reads.
“The large private pool is undoubtedly the coolest rooftop pool in Queensland.
“Boasting views of the entire coastline, the unique design ensures it is usable all year round – rain, hail or shine, combining practical design with wow factor.”
The penthouse has four bedrooms, each with an ensuite, as well as a private pilates studio which can also be converted into a bedroom or home office.
It is the latest high-end penthouse to hit the market in recent months.
Meriton boss “high-rise” Harry Triguboff put his giant two-level penthouse at Main Beach’s Silverpoint tower on the market in November after having owned it since the building’s completion in 1990.
The penthouse of Broadbeach’s Ultra tower sold in June for $8.4m in an off-market deal brokered by Ray White Burleigh Group.
