A man has died in a serious traffic incident on the Pacific Motorway, sparking major traffic delays.
Motorists are warned to avoid the Pacific Mwy at Robina as police investigate a fatal traffic incident.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said emergency services were responding to a serious traffic incident on the Pacific Motorway at Robina.
“Initial information indicates that around 12.40pm, a male was located with serious injuries near Exit 79; however, he was declared deceased at the scene by paramedics.
“The Forensic Crash Unit will be investigating and there are no further details available at this time.”
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and expect lengthy delays.
