Ghislaine Maxwell breaks silence on shock Jeffrey Epstein sex files

Disgraced socialite Ghislaine Maxwell has responded to the explosive release of court documents revealing Jeffrey Epstein’s chilling crimes.

Epstein files unsealed: the rollout begins for John and Jane Does

Ghislaine Maxwell broke her silence on the explosive unsealing of US court documents that revealed chilling claims by victims of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

The disgraced socialite madame issued a statement through her lawyers saying she “took no position on the Court’s recent decision to unseal documents in Giuffre v. Maxwell”.

“As these disclosures have no bearing on her or her pending appeal,” said the statement from lawyers Arthur L. Aidala and Diana Fabi Samson.

“Ghislaine’s focus is on the upcoming appellate argument asking for her entire case to be dismissed.

“She is confident that she will obtain justice in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

“She has consistently and vehemently maintained her innocence.”

SHOCK EPSTEIN CLAIMS REVEALED

Accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein told one of his victims that Bill Clinton “likes them young”, according to newly unsealed US court documents.

Hundreds of pages of documents, released on Wednesday in New York, shed new light on the relationships between Epstein, who died in jail in 2019, and rich and powerful people including Mr Clinton, Prince Andrew, Donald Trump, Michael Jackson and magician David Copperfield. None is accused of any wrongdoing.

The documents, which have been under seal since 2017, also show that Epstein, who allegedly kept a series of young women around so that they could give him sexual massages, claimed he needed three orgasms a day for “biological” reasons.

The documents were part of a since-settled 2015 defamation case that Australian-based accuser Virginia Giuffre brought against Epstein madam and convicted sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, the daughter of UK press baron Robert Maxwell.

They include previously suppressed transcripts of testimony given by some of Epstein’s victims including Ms Giuffre and Johanna Sjoberg.

Asked if Epstein ever talked to her about Mr Clinton, Ms Sjoberg replied: “He said one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls.”

Flight logs of Epstein’s private plane, dubbed the “Lolita Express”, show that the former US president took at least nine trips on the jet to places including Paris, Bangkok and Brunei.

However, there is no evidence he ever flew to Epstein’s private Caribbean island, Little Saint James, or was involved in any illegal activity.

Mr Clinton has not publicly commented on the documents.

Ms Giuffre gave evidence that Maxwell directed her to have sex with Prince Andrew, model agent and alleged sex trafficker Jean Luc Brunel, who died in 2022, computer scientist Marvin Minsky, who died in 2016, former New Mexico governor Bill Richardson, who died in September, “another prince” and a “large hotel chain owner”.

Asked if there were other men Maxwell ordered her to have sex with, Ms Giuffre said: “I am definitely sure there is. But can I remember everybody’s name? No.”

Ms Sjoberg told the court that she and Ms Giuffre met Prince Andrew at Epstein’s New York mansion when Ms Giuffre was 17.

The three posed for a photo with a puppet that looked like the prince, she said.

“They put the puppet on Virginia’s lap, and I sat on Andrew’s lap, and they put the puppet’s hand on Virginia’s breast, and Andrew put his hand on my breast, and they took a photo,” she said in a deposition.

Prince Andrew has always strongly denied any allegations of wrongdoing.

She said that on one occasion Lolita Express pilots told Epstein they couldn’t land in New York and would instead have to land in Atlantic City, in New Jersey, where Trump had a casino.

“Jeffrey (Epstein) said, great, we’ll call up Trump and we’ll go to — I don’t recall the name of the casino, but — we’ll go to the casino.”

Flight logs show that Mr Trump flew on Epstein’s private jet at least seven times in the 1990s.

Ms Sjoberg said Epstein gave her an explanation why he received so many massages from so many different girls but she thought it was “a little crazy”.

“He explained to me that, in his opinion, he needed to have three orgasms a day,” she said.

“It was biological, like eating.”

She said Epstein was friends with Mr Copperfield and she attended a dinner party where the magician “did some magic tricks”.

Mr Copperfield “questioned me if I was aware that girls were getting paid to find other girls,” she said.

When asked whether “they were teenagers or anything along those lines?”, she replied “He did not”.

Michael Jackson also visited Epstein’s house at Palm Beach, Florida, she said. She told the court she did not give the late pop singer a massage.

Ms Sjoberg said Maxwell referred to her personal assistant, Emmy Tayler, as Epstein’s “slave”.

She said Epstein “told me one time Emmy was sleeping on the plane, and they were getting ready to land. And he went and woke her up, and she thought that meant he wanted a blow job, so she started to unzip his pants, and he said, No, no, no, you just have to be awake for landing,” she said in her deposition.

The documents also describe Epstein mocking Ms Giuffre in an email to Maxwell, telling her to offer her a reward to back up claims including that late physicist Stephen Hawking, who had motor neurone disease, participated in an orgy on Little Saint James island.

The files show an argumentative Maxwell repeatedly clashing with Ms Giuffre’s lawyers during a heated deposition by refusing to answer questions.

She denied arranging for Ms Giuffre to have sex with Brunel – or anybody else.

“Just for the record, I have never at any time, at any place, in any moment ever asked Virginia Roberts or whatever she is called now to have sex with anybody,” she said.

She also denied providing Giuffre with “an outfit of a sexual nature” to wear for Victoria’s Secret founder Les Wexner.

“Categorically no,” she said.

“You did get that, I said categorically no.”

Epstein’s butler, Alfredo Rodriguez, gave evidence before he died in 2015.

He said Maxwell called him and threatened him after he left Epstein’s service.

“She said … that I will be sorry if I contact any of her friends again,” he said in a deposition.

“She said something like don’t open your mouth or something like that.”

More documents may be released later this month.

Two of Epstein’s alleged victims have objected to the release of information that might identify them because they fear for their safety.

The judge overseeing the release of documents, Loretta Preska, has given them until 22 January to make submissions.
